A classic example of a rating scale question is NPS (Net Promoter Score) : On a scale of one to ten, how likely are you to recommend us to a friend or colleague? You can also use rating scales that express a respondent’s position on a continuum between polar opposite points. For example: How hot was your food when it arrived?
